Any fan of hardtek has likely heard about record label “Night on Earth”. If you don’t know… GET TO KNOW!
These guys have been making waves in the scene over the last few years, with a relentless onslaught of SICK releases! Tanukichi’s 2020 “Bass Fxxkers” album was a mind-bender and most recently, these guys have dropped their 3rd “Bass Invaders” VA compilation – Big moves for such a new label!
T-Menace caught up with co-founder Tanukichi to find out more about the label, where their journey started and what’s to come…
Night on Earth was born from 2 friends and producers in Japan, Tanukichi & DJ Sharpnel, founding the website hardtek.jp in 2016 with ambition to grow the hardtek genre in Japan. In 2020, this duo and their tight crew of friends/artists joined forces to start the Night on Earth label, with a goal of pushing new hard music talent and building bridges with the hard music scene in Europe.
5 years later, we can safely say they’ve already made some big strides to achieving their goal, with an impressive back catalogue of Hardtek, Frenchcore, Hardcore, and Hardstyle bangers! Night on Earth has branched out to Europe, releasing music from talented up and coming producers from Europe and here in the UK. You can find all their music on Spotify, hardtek.jp and Bandcamp!
Looking forward, there’s PLENTY more to come from this lot as they continue their onslaught! They have some cool releases coming later this year, including a new album from Tanukichi and Osaka’s Savage States! Make sure you follow the label and crew on their socials!
